CAR short for Automobile originating from the Greek 'autos' (Latin) and Latin 'movére' (moving) is a four or more wheeled vehicle that carries its own machine. This type of car includes buses, vans, trucks. Car operation is called steering. If the car is like this now, it is quite difficult to determine who the inventor. The car actually consists of thousands of components that are discovered and developed gradually. However, it can be mentioned that Nicolaus J. Cugnot was the first person to successfully launch a large body vehicle, three-wheeled, and engined steam. This vehicle was used to pull the cannon in 1769. This picture is the image where, the vehicle created by Nicolaus J. Cugnot was hit the wall. And this accident was recorded as the first car accident in the world. After that another engineer who makes similar vehicles is William Murdock who worked with dengna James Watts from England. they succeeded in developing and launching a steam engine in 1784.

Richard Trevitchick also managed to create and launch a steam engined vehicle. In 1830, six-wheeled vehicle Sir Goldswarthy Gurnay creates a speed of 25km / h. Until the early 20th century, steam-engine vehicles continued to be created even though the steam engine was dangerous because it often exploded. Since the middle of 19th century, car design has grown rapidly. in 1860, Jean Joseph E. Lenoir, from France, succeeded in creating a combustion engine in a mixture of coal and gas and a mixture of atmospheric air. The machine works without compression, in which the fuel mixture and air are inserted into the cylinder when the piston is diseparuh step, then ignited with a fire sticker (busi), so the gas pressure in the cylinder up push the piston to the end of the step and remove the gas burned out . The efficiency of this machine is only 5% but capable of generating power up to 6DK. Then in 1885, Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz managed to create an internal combustion engine. Although without the clutch to move power from the engine to the wheel making it difficult when leaving, this vehicle is a basic model for the developers of the next cars. The internal combustion engine is immediately preferred because it has no possibility of exploding, no splashing fire outside, no thick smoke, and not as steamy as a steam engine.

At the same time developing new inventions that improve the performance of old machines. In 1886, Nicolaus A. Otto and Eagen Langen succeeded in developing an atmospheric pressurized fuel engine incorporated into a cylinder, ignited with a high-pressure combustion gas spark plug and capable of inducing a piston to carry out the expansion step to remove the combustion gas. The efficiency gained by this machine is 11%. Otto's engine is called a four-stroke engine and patented in 1876. In 1890 Charles E and Frank Duryea from the US succeeded in creating the first gasoline-engined car. In 1898 Louis Renault invented the propulsion rod instead of a chain that had been used to move the engine power to the wheel. Three years earlier, Renault also created a water-cooled engine. In 1911, Cadillac Automobile Co., managed to create an electric starter, electric ignition with the coil and battery in exchange for a crank starter. In 1922, rubber tires containing air as a replacement for dead tires or ankle tires were first introduced.

The first US automobile patent was awarded to Oliver Evans in 1789; in 1804 Evans demonstrated his first car, which was not only the first car in the US but also the first amphibious vehicle, whose steam-powered vehicles were on the ground using wheels and water using paddle wheels. Generally the first cars of internal combustion engines that used gasoline were made almost simultaneously in 1886 by German inventors working separately. Carl Benz on July 3, 1886 in Mannheim, and Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach in Stuttgart. On November 5, 1895, George B. Selden was granted a US patent for a two-stroke engine. This patent had a negative impact on the development of the car industry in the US. The spectacular breakthrough was carried out by Berta Benz in 1888. Steam engines, electricity, and gasoline competed for decades, with gasoline engine combustion in achieving dominance in the 1910s. The large-scale production line of affordable car making was done by Oldsmobil in 1902, and later developed massively by Henry Ford in the 1910s. In the period from 1900 to mid 1920s the development of automotive technology was very fast, caused by the large number (hundreds) of small car makers who all competed to grab the world's attention. Major developments include electronic ignition and electronic self-starter (both by Charles Kettering, for Cadillac car companies in 1910-1911), independent suspension, and four-tire brakes.

In the 1930s, most of the technology in automobiles had been created, though often re-created in the future and given credit to others. For example, a front wheel drive was recreated by Andre Citroën in the launch of Traction Avant in 1934, although this technology had appeared several years earlier in a car made by Alvis and Cord, and in a race car by Miller (and may have appeared in early 1897 ). After 1930, the number of car manufacturers decreased drastically with the industry joining each other and mature. Since 1960, the number of producers is almost fixed, and innovation is reduced. In many ways, new technologies are just improvements from previous technologies. With the exception of the invention of engine management, which entered the market in the 1960s, when electronic goods became cheap enough for mass production and powerful enough to handle a rough environment in cars. Developed by Bosch, this electronic tool can make car drains decrease dramatically while increasing efficiency and power.
